Having chosen your artwork added it to your basket and placed your order:

  • You will receive a receipt for your payment and a confirmation email from noreply@artmakers.uk to tell you that your order has been received and is being processed.
  • At the same time the artist(s) will be notified that work has been sold.  This notification will include your name and the address for delivery.
  • The artist will then package the work for courier delivery and once the work has been despatched they will enter the tracking number at ArtMakers and you will receive a further email telling you that the work has been despatched.
  • Once the work has been delivered the artist will be notified by the courier company and the delivery date entered on artmakers’ sales record.  This will trigger an email to you asking you to confirm that you have received the item that you have bought.
  • This link gives you the option to confirm that the artwork has been delivered or that the work has either not been delivered or that you have an issue that you wish to raise.
  • If you tell us that the work has been delivered you will hear nothing further from us and we hope you enjoy your purchase from ArtMakers for a long time to come.
  • If you tell us that the art was either not delivered or you have an issue, you will then be given an opportunity to describe any problems that you have and a member of the ArtMakers team will make direct contact in order to resolve any issues.

RETURNS

With the exception of any Commissions or other Made to order Artwork, ArtMakers offers Buyers a 14 day money back guarantee on your order in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013  and our Buyer Terms and Conditions  Paragraphs 9-12 

Returning an Artwork and Applying for a Refund

  • A Buyer must contact ArtMakers in writing by sending an email to admin@artmakers.uk within 14 days of receiving the artwork, to advise that they wish to return the artwork.  NOTE: Date of receipt for an artwork will be identified by ArtMakers either by the courier delivery record or in the event that a work has been hand delivered by the artist by date of delivery as recorded by the artist on the ArtMakers’ website.
  • Following receipt of such email, a member of the ArtMakers team will make contact to confirm arrangements for return of the artwork and refund of original payment.  NOTE: Refunds granted by Artmakers will typically be made within 14 days of receipt of returned artwork. Any delivery and/or service fee paid is not refundable unless the order to which it relates is cancelled before the Artwork has been despatched or the item(s) is/are faulty or damaged when delivered (See section 4 below).  ArtMakers has no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.    
  • The Buyer must return the artwork to the artist, unused, in the same condition that it was received and in its original packaging within 14 days of the original request to return the item  NOTE: In order to meet the requirement that an artwork is returned unused and in the same condition that it was received, It is important that the ‘Buyer’ and/or their representative take care when unpacking received artworks as an artwork must be returned in its original packaging in order to qualify for a refund.  
  • DAMAGE:
    • Damaged Packaging:  If there was a problem with the packaging, take photographs of the package damage and send to admin@artmakers.uk.  Package the return to give good protection to the item before sending back to the artist.
    • Artwork Damage: A photo of the artwork damage must be provided and attached to the initial email notification to admin@artmakers.uk so that the Seller can learn more about what went wrong with their particular shipment and evidence can be provided for any claim against the courier’s insurance. 
  • Unless otherwise agreed with ArtMakers, cost of returns shall be met by the Buyer.
  • Once the artwork has been received by the artist and condition of the artwork has been approved, ArtMakers will arrange a refund within 14 days.  NOTE:  in the event that the artist is not satisfied with the condition in which any artwork has been returned then clauses under Section 10 (Faulty or Damaged Artwork) of the Buyers Terms and Conditions shall apply.

PAYMENTS

  • Payment is taken from your card at the time you place your original order.  Any refunds granted will be credited to the Debit or Credit Card used at the time of order processing.  
  • A refund will be issued for postage paid, only when the item is found to be defective or incorrectly supplied from the original order. If you fail to return goods at your expense, ArtMakers reserves the right to charge the direct costs for their recovery and may offset that amount against any refund due.
