Matt Angell Designs

I’m Matt Angell, a watercolour artist from Bideford in Devon. I mainly focus on landscapes, trees, and mountainous forms. My work explores light, atmosphere, and subtle emotion through layered washes and an intuitive process. I embrace both control and spontaneity, allowing water and pigment to shape each painting naturally, capturing mood, depth, and a sense of quiet place.

My paintings have been featured in International Artist Magazine, and my work has been commissioned internationally, including an album cover for Paris Jackson. 

 I love the way watercolour flows and surprises, allowing each piece to feel organic, expressive, and slightly unpredictable.
