Hannah Jenkinson

I make work about my life on the farm where I live, on the North Devon/Cornwall border. I explore and document the farm: the animals, people, creatures and plant life.  It’s not always pretty. Sometimes it is beautiful, harsh, strange and funny. Experimenting through photographic, drawing, paint and ceramic processes, as I observe and record the familiar activities on the farm and the lifecycles we share.  My studio is on the farm, and I also have a small exhibition space open to visitors. In addition, I run a local community based inclusive art group and volunteer to bring art into local events and projects.  I believe in helping people to make art, as a form of unspoken communication and as a place to share our experiences. In July 2026 I graduated from Cornwall College, Camborne with a First-Class BA(Hons) Degree in Art and Design Practice. For 2026/2027 I will be working with Cornwall College University Centre through a graduate studio award placement.
