Daisy Potts

My sculpture is based on my rural and coastal existence. While I throw and make slab built functional ware, I express myself through representations of the natural world. Currently I make versions of my spaniels which are hand built in stoneware and either coloured with oxides and fired in an electric kiln or using the ancient art of wood firing. I love the varied results of wood firing dependent on position and heat of the kiln.
