This ArtMakersUK panel discussion will bring together two northern Devon textile artists Kate Eldridge, and Laura Shone sharing their experiences of how they got making and turning their skills into a business.

Kate has beading patterns published in several magazines in addition to retailing them via her own business outlets.
Laura Shone is a multimedia artist specialising in textiles. She designed and created award winning costumes for a local photographer Andy Robinson. Laura uses the technique of eco printing, free motion embroidering and embellishing fabrics. She also makes a range of interior soft furnishings using eco printing techniques.
