Landscape class with Deborah Last

If this last few years have shown us anything, it’s that we need outside space and that the landscape is important to us as human beings. This class explores landscapes visually! We will be based at my studio but when the weather allows we will be outside as much as possible. When n the studio we will look at techniques and things like colour mixing, composition and materials. Going outside will give you an opportunity to put all that into practice. When we’re outside we will often use a pochade box, basically a painting box for en plein air painting (painting outside) we will work with drawing and painting using a wide variety of materials. There will be “borrow boxes” available to hire for £5 a session if we are outside. Which will include paint, a board and brushes.
