This session will provide the opportunity to develop Floral Art Nouveau Blockprint Tote bag and cards A workshop using Summer flowers in Arlington Court Garden as inspiration to create some drawings which will be used to carve some simple lino blocks (in the style of the Art Deco/ Art Nouveau movement)! Learn to ink up and repeat a pattern across some sample fabric and a tote bag! Also embellish using inked up monoprinted leaves and ferns. Great for beginners to have a go (those cautious in drawing can use temples to trace and carve their own blocks). Samples are illustrated in the image below but you will work to your design. All materials for this workshop will be provided and are included in the price. There is a cafe on site and accessible toilets. Registering for this workshop gives you free access to Arlington Court for the day.
