Inspired by the ancient beauty of the ammonite and the ever-changing colours of the sea, 'Tides of Time' captures a sense of movement, history and the natural rhythms of the coast. Layers of turquoise, aqua, cobalt blue and fresh sea greens radiate through the spiral, interspersed with clear glass and delicate bubbles that catch and scatter the light. The transparent areas allow the surroundings to become part of the piece, changing its character throughout the day. The ammonite form connects the work to oceans of the distant past, while the vibrant palette reflects the colours of the North Devon coast today. Fused at high temperature, the individual pieces of glass soften and flow together while retaining their texture, creating a contemporary interpretation of an ancient natural form. Displayed in a simple black metal stand, the glass appears almost suspended, allowing light to illuminate every ripple, colour and detail.

With the exception of any Commissions or other Made to Order Artwork, once you have received your artwork there is a period of 14 days in which you may change your mind about the purchase and notify ArtMakers in writing by email to admin@artmakers.uk that you wish to return the work and claim a refund. See also FAQ’s and ArtMakers’ Buyer Terms and Conditions Paragraphs 9-12.
You then have a further 14 days in which to return the work to the artist unused, in the same condition in which it was received and in its original packaging.
Full Refunds are dependent on returned Artwork being received in the same condition as it was sent. See FAQ’s and ArtMakers’ Buyer Terms and Conditions Paragraphs 9-12 for more details.

A: In the UK we expect all work to be delivered within 7-10 days. In most cases it is considerably less than this. Please use our website message system to contact the artist or maker if you have a specific delivery request. Delivery times outside the UK, will depend on the method of delivery and any customs issues.
A: You have 14 days to change your mind about your purchase and notify ArtMakers in writing by sending an email to us at admin@artmakers.uk to say that you wish to return your artwork. You then have a further 14 days to send the artwork back to the artist (See also the note under Returns above and ArtMakers’ Buyer Terms and Conditions Paragraphs 9-12
A: In most circumstances, you the Buyer would be responsible for paying any return shipping.
A: Please photograph any damage to packaging and/or artwork and send to ArtMakers at admin@artmakers.uk explaining the problem. A senior member of the team will then contact you to agree the next steps.
