The light on the water - the water - the much needed respect for our most precious element. Rosie’s adventure with the depiction of water - sea to source, is moving from the micro: concerns over the tiny but visible in our waterways to the nano. Oil on monotypes exploring the microplastics from river samples, and smaller still - the bacterial and cellular pollutants that are threatening our rivers and fresh water. This is a monoprint - a one off with added oil paint glazes - the title from a line for Tennyson's poem The Brook - a favourite flowing description of water. (apologies poor photography tech error and loss of unframed images)
