Rosie Burns

ABOUT

Rosie Burns is a painter and printmaker,  her work explore water, skies, environmental
musings, and the human form: an exploration of light, life, and the interplay between humanity and the environment. Her portfolio spans two primary themes: the figure and the landscape, with additional fleeting moments of inspiration often sparking new creations. A recurring motif in her work is the helicoidal spiral—echoing forms found in DNA, shells, surf, and clouds—infusing her compositions with universal and natural patterns. Rosie trained in Archaeological Illustration, then taught Art, establishing studios Rosie and Red Art and Leather in August 2023. Artivist, a pacifist, environmentalist.
