Description An original watercolour painting showing Barricane beach in Woolacombe after a stormy shower. I worked this image up in layers from light to dark using a mixture of wet on dry and wet on wet techniques. Lines have been scored into areas to allow the paint to pool and create texture. Key details in the foreground have been picked out in pen and pencil with other areas less defined in order to capture the rain washed mood.
